A pet-friendly hotel were you can order a dog on room service.

Hotels can be lonely places, even when you’re sleeping in the same building as loads of other people, you might feel a little isolated if you are staying alone especially as you’re probably staying far from your home, pets, and pals.

Well, one hotel in San Francisco helps you solve this problem. They let you just whistle and have a doggo come hang out with you. Hotel Nikko in San Francisco allows you bring your own dog, with its pet package – or if you can’t bring a furry friend, you can ask to chill with the hotel’s very own puppy, Buster.

Buster Presutti Posey (Buster for short) is the hotel’s COO (Canine Operating Officer), and he’s been living at the hotel since 2015. You can call down to reception during your stay and ask if Buster is free to come up for a cuddle. This is way better than ordering an overpriced bottle of wine.

If you get your own dog, you can as well book the pet package for $50 (£36.85) extra a night, where your pooch will get a plush dog bed to sleep in your room, as well as food/water bowls and a pet placemat.

Your furry friend will get a welcome bag, featuring toys, a portable food bowl, a dog waste bag dispenser and tennis balls. You and your dog will both sleep on the VIP floor of the hotel, so who knows what other floors you might get to meet?

The hotel is home to San Francisco’s only rooftop grass dog run so your dog can do their business in the sky (from 6 am – 10 pm).
